Production of the 1st Landcruisers began in 1951, and Toyota never looked back, making Lancruisers the longest running series in Toyota’s storied history. These Landcruisers from the 70’s and 80’s—their capabilities and reliability—are legendary, and have a well-earned following of devotees.
This example comes from the Tacoma area in Washington state, which is a great climate to avoid rust (a common problem with Landcruisers). It was a passion project for a fly fisherman from Vancouver who used it for his weekly outings to Hope in British Columbia. It features a completely rebuilt 3B diesel engine, Old Man Emu suspension, and many more upgrades both inside and out. A custom front bumper with a Warn winch and a custom roof rack with storage boxes and a tent accentuate this model even further. The truck comes with full documentation of the restoration.
